All "CLUB" CLASSES are FREE to members. (This does NOT include SPECIALTY CLASSES – which are not free.) If you aren't already a member, walk-ins are $10, or purchase a monthly card for unlimited club classes.

CLUB CLASSES

BASIC PILATES

Learn the ABC's of Pilates Principles: Alignment, Breathing, Control and Stability. Focus on using the breathe and muscle control through a series of fundamental Pilates exercises designed to to increase core strength and improve posture. A great starting point for anyone wishing to begin a Pilates program.

BASIC PILATES for MEN

Learn the ABC's of Pilates Principles: Alignment, Breathing, Control and Stability. Focus on using the breathe and muscle control through a series of fundamental Pilates exercises designed to to increase core strength and improve posture.

BODY SCULPTING on the BALL

Try this total body workout using the big Swiss balls, weighted medicine balls, bands and dumbells. You will strengthen abdominal and back muscles while challenging balance for better core stability and functional strength. Great for all!

"BOUNCY" BALL WORKOUT

Enjoy a different slant on "cardio" exercise incorporating balance and
functional core strength.

CARDIO FITNESS

Fun, fast-paced choreography will increase your heart rate and fitness level while you BURN excess FAT and CALORIES. Add a few weights and abs to this floor aerobic, step or interval class for a total body workout!

CIRCUIT/STEP

Combines a challenging cardio workout with strength training for a all-in-one class. Come prepared to work hard! Class is for all ages and fitness levels.

EASY STEP

Learn the terminology, steps and movement patterns of step. No fancy footwork, just a great cardiovascular workout!

FUNCTIONAL STRENGTH

Temporarily on vacation until June 1, 2008. Learn and practice using your strength, endurance and power in a bio-mechanically efficient way, that will make work and play easier, safer and more FUN! This class leaves participants smiling and saying "WOW, I thought I was fit!"

INTERMEDIATE PILATES

Basic and Intermediate Pilates matwork taught at a faster pace. Pilates incorporates breathing, alignment, and inner focus to create long lean muscles and a strong core.  We recommend you have a Pilates experience before joining this class.

LEAN & STRONG

This well designed class will increase strength, enhance muscle tone, help prevent osteoporosis AND metabolize fat. Using dumbbells, balls, and tubing, this workout can be done in the gym or in your home.  This class is for anyone who would like to be stronger.

LEGS & ABS

Complete your cardio workout with a half hour of intense lower body and abdominal training.

STEP & STRENGTH

Designed for those with previous step training experience. This class incorporates challenging and fun combinations to satisfy the workout hungry participant. New to step? Come early and learn the choreography!

TOTAL CARDIO SCULPT

A fast-paced combination of aerobic intervals, strength training, and functional strength.

YOGA CLUB CLASS

A gentle/moderate flow consisting of lying-down, seated, kneeling, standing postures and twists incorporated with breathwork and relaxing meditation. All levels are welcome.

BALLROOM DANCING

: $30 for 5 week session and $8.00 per class.

• Baby Ballet
: Ages 2 - 4

This class introduces the very basics to young ballerinas. The emphasis will be attending to the teacher, following simple directions and learning a beautiful dance or two. Class time is 45 minutes. Capacity of 10 kids

• Pre Ballet: Ages 4 - 6

This class emphasizes basic ballet positions and vocabulary. Students will learn barre basics, some center basics and a beautiful dance. Class time is 1 hour.

• Classical Ballet: Ages 7 & up

This class will incorporate the basics plus some advanced work, with an emphasis on dancing to several choreographed routines. Class time is 1 hour.

• Team Jazz: All ages welcomed!

We will be working on basic Jazz techniques with an emphasis on choreographed routines. We will start with learning some of our.favorite dances from “High School Musical.” Class time is 1 hour.

• Junior Tap: Ages 5 - 10.

Class is for boys and girls. We will be learning basic steps and vocabulary. We will also be practicing several dance routines to our favorite songs. Class time is 45 minutes.

• Adult Tap: Ages 11 & up

This class concentrates on having fun! In addition, we will be learning some dances choreographed to familiar tunes. Class time is 45 minutes.

Mrs. Crossman's Classes – Classes will resume late Fall. Call for more details.

CYCLING

Challenge yourself, if you like fast-paced cardio workouts this is for you! You can use hundreds of calories, change from a "bike rider" and to a cyclist, become a better cyclist and besides that IT'S FUN! We offer several levels of classes:

  • If you like to ride your bike, would like a light to moderate workout, learn some cycling techniques, and have some fun -- the Average Joe class is for you!

  • If you like to ride fast and ride far and are into intense indoor workouts -- Hard Core Cycling will work. If the early time won't work on Saturday, our Intermediate to Advanced Cycling class (see below) is OK for hardcore bikers, too.

  • Heavy Metal Cycling – Be prepared for Heavy Metal music too! This class is for all cycling levels.

  • If you are a an intermediate to advanced cyclist who might want to brush up on cycling technique and want a moderate plus workout to get you fitter, try our Intermediate to Advanced Cycling class. (This class works for hardcore bikers, as well).

KIDZ GYM

A unique FITNESS & NUTRITION program for children designed by certified instructors. (Note: non-members are welcome to workout while their child is in kidz gym for a reduced guest fee of $6.00.)
Cost: $2.00 per child.

TAE KWON DO

The ancient art of Tae Kwon Do teaches you how to kick, block, strike, punch, and counter strike effectively.  You will learn stretching, forms, self-defense, and falling in a controlled environment.  Year-round training and advancement in belt levels. TODDLER SHAKE TIME

This program is designed specifically for ages 2-4. Your tot will have a blast while practicing fine and gross motor skills, balancing, developing body awareness, following directions, taking turns and much more!

Cost: $6.00 per class

ULTIMATE CORE CONDITIONING

60 minutes of core conditioning utilizing floor and standing Pilates-based exercises with concentration on floor and building core strength. Students should come to class with some Pilates, yoga, or functional strength experience. Stay tuned for class start date & time.

Jane's Yoga

A Kripalu, heart-centered approach to Hatha yoga known for its powerful health and strengthening benefits. Each class combines pranayama, asama, core strengthening, yoga flow, balance and meditation or relaxation.
Two versions:
• Yoga for health and longevity. Monday at 10 am
• Deepening your practice. Monday at 4:30 pm
All levels welcome. More details coming soon.

Kari’s Yoga Classes

Yoga touches the Heart, allowing us to appreciate more deeply what Is given to us. Asanas relieve tension, uncovering the body's natural balanced Freedom of movement.  Pranayama reestablishes balance of the Breath. Meditation calms the Mind's fluctuations. All levels are welcome.

Yin Yoga

A passive inward practice of mostly floor postures, observing the breath and sensations in the body while releasing tension and restrictions deep in the connective tissue. All levels are welcome.
